Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in an inpatient hospice Solace Unit in accordance with physician orders, following the plan of care and delivering treatments to achieve positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, delivering end-of-life care, managing pain and symptoms, coordinating hospice services, and reporting needs to the team (Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services – Hospice, and Chaplain). Requires BLS within 30 days, RN licensure, Bachelor's degree within 90 days, and 1 year of experience. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates. Located in Asheville, NC; on-site role with hospice-focused responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Bachelor's Degree must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- 1 year experience
- State Nurse Practice Act knowledge
- Ability to provide direct patient care in Hospice setting
- Team collaboration and care coordination
