Job Summary
Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to terminally ill patients in various settings, including inpatient centers, long-term care facilities, and private residences. Assist with patient ambulation, exercise routines, and basic procedures as directed by licensed clinicians. Observe and report changes in patient conditions to nurses, complete timely documentation, and educate family caregivers on proper care techniques. Maintain confidentiality and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Work three twelve-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm, with flexibility for weekends, holidays, and different care sites. Requires a current Florida CNA license, CPR/BLS certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Florida driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Required immunizations and screenings (e.g., TB, Hepatitis, Flu).
- Clearance for communicable diseases prior to patient contact.
- Reliable transportation and ability to shift work locations.

- Compliance with continuing education and professional development policies.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and across different care sites as needed.
- Must be able to work three twelve hour shifts a week.
- Must be able to work shifts from 7 am - 7 pm.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of six months of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in hospice or terminal care strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of personal care principles and hospice care standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
