Job Summary
Inpatient hematology/oncology nurse practitioner providing admits and discharges, consultations and rounding, and some management of chronic health conditions. Performs new hematology consults in coordination with the collaborative physician and contributes to developing the oncology care model to improve patient care and outcomes. ThriveAP transition-to-practice program support is available for new graduates integrating into the team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) credential in the applicable state
- Clinical experience in hematology/oncology preferred
- ability to admit and discharge patients, perform rounds, and conduct consultations
