Job Summary
Inpatient Group Therapist at Bournewood Hospital in Brookline, MA. Facilitate structured group therapy sessions for adults and adolescents with mental health conditions and substance use disorders in an inpatient setting; develop and implement therapeutic interventions; conduct assessments to determine group treatment plans; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other professionals; provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed; educate patients on coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention; maintain accurate EMR documentation; participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development. Requires strong group facilitation skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care; preferred degree in a mental health field and active state licensure.
