Inpatient Detox Counselor | PRN and Sunday Overnight Shifts!

Provide individual, group, and family counseling services using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approaches. Complete screenings, intakes, and comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and ASAM level-of-care determinations. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans aligned with client needs, medical necessity, and regulatory standards. Support clients in withdrawal management, crisis stabilization, and early recovery while delivering crisis intervention and de-escalation services. Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Motivational Enhancement Therapy strategies to explore ambivalence, strengthen readiness for change, and support client-centered recovery goals. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record, PA WITS, REDCap, and other required systems. Coordinate care with internal teams, hospitals, crisis services, and community providers to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions. Provide case management services in accordance with DDAP and OMHSAS standards, including linkage to medical, recovery, behavioral health, and social services. Facilitate discharge and aftercare planning, including follow-up appointments and community referrals. Participate in team meetings, supervision, training, and quality improvement activities. Obtain and maintain DDAP-recognized clinical credentials, or actively participate in an approved supervision and training plan to achieve certification within required timeframes.
