Job Summary
Dispense medications to patients, interpret IV admixture orders, and prepare primary IV/solutions. Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records. Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for the final check of all completed work. Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services. Provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care services to patients, nurses, and physicians. This per diem position offers variable shifts at MultiCare Deaconess Hospital, a 388-bed acute-care Level III Trauma Center serving the Spokane region.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
