Job Summary
The Inpatient Certified Pharmacy Technician conducts a wide range of technical support functions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy inventory, managing medication orders, preparing medications, performing Pyxis duties for medication dispensing, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance standards. Candidates must have active PTCB certification, state licensure, and at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. This full-time role includes rotating weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Possession of active, non-restricted national technician certification from the PTCB
- State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
