Job Summary
Inpatient Adult Psychiatry Attending needed to staff the inpatient program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center in Mesa, AZ. Role involves overseeing a caseload of 9-10 hospitalized patients, collaborating with a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and teaching rotating medical students with potential faculty appointments at Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits including four weeks of paid time off, CME with a $4,000 annual allowance, ten holidays, retirement plan, and employer-paid malpractice coverage. Candidates must be board certified or pursuing board certification and hold an Arizona medical license prior to starting. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified or in process of Board certification in Psychiatry
- Arizona medical license prior to employment
- MD or DO degree in medicine
- Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred or required
