Job Summary
Inpatient Attending Psychiatrist for an adult inpatient program at Valleywise Behavioral Health Center in the Phoenix, AZ area. Caseload of 9-10 patients with collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner; teaching of rotating medical students with potential faculty appointments at Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits (PTO, CME, holidays, retirement, malpractice coverage). Location options include Chandler and the greater Phoenix metro area; the role emphasizes inpatient care for hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients and requires board certification or active pursuit of certification along with an Arizona medical license.
Required Qualifications
- Board certified or in the process of Board certification
- Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment
