Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations, interviews, and therapy sessions for patients with mental illness, behavioral disturbances, or substance abuse issues. Assist with admission processes, emergency detentions, and referrals to community resources while coordinating inpatient admissions through the medical staff. Facilitate crisis prevention, manage escalated situations, and engage in weekly treatment planning with the interdisciplinary team. Perform phone triage, document all interactions in medical records, and collaborate with medical staff and family members to ensure patient safety and appropriate discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered license in state of employment as LPC, LMFT, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMSW, or LCSW, or state equivalent license
- CPR certification
- hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervised clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a mental health related field
- Assessment and evaluation experience
