Job Summary
Assist with educational programs to maintain and improve staff competence, orient personnel to patient care standards and procedures, and support classroom training for entry-level staff. Implement educational initiatives designed to enhance staff retention while modeling Inova Health System's values. Provide positive ongoing support to the Clinical Technician Academy through flexible, part-time office hours Monday through Friday. This role offers tuition and student loan assistance up to $10,000 and is located in Falls Church, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- active multi-state RN License
- PRN
- Monday-Friday (typical office hours)
- at least 1 shift per week
- INPD (Fairview) located in Falls Church, VA
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant teaching experience in a clinical setting or a school of nursing
- Over 2 years of recent RN inpatient experience
