Job Summary
Conduct full spectrum inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN practice for uninsured and low-income individuals in Northern Virginia. Serve as a Safety Officer for Labor & Delivery and Women's Hospital to detect and prevent safety events. Perform prenatal and gynecologic care, including non-stress testing, LEEP, and colposcopy procedures. Manage call shifts, including 12-hour in-house coverage at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and 24-hour coverage at Inova Alexandria Hospital. Provide cross-coverage to other Inova Cares for Women locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
- Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN
- Successful completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
- Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors
- Ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership
- Appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services

- Two years of experience after residency
