Job Summary
Conduct inspections to identify pest activity, perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients, and install Thermal Acoustical Pest (TAP) insulation. Assist with light construction projects, minor repairs, and wildlife removal while setting up exclusion traps and ensuring safety protocols. Communicate with customers to explain services and maintain satisfaction. Work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed, performing tasks in confined spaces, on rooftops, and around chemicals. Maintain balance on narrow surfaces and lift up to 50 pounds. This role supports the global leader in pest control and specialized services across 90 countries, offering a professional trajectory with opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in both internal and external settings
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Clean shaven face
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise reposition objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain balance when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Ability to push objects forward, downward, or outward with sustained force using the upper extremities
- Ability to work both inside and outside in your local climate
- Ability to regularly sit, climb, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to work around animals, insects and termites
- Ability to work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to set up and build exclusion traps
- Ability to cut flashing and forms hardware cloth to specifications
- Ability to remove animals trapped in exclusion devices
- Ability to work in a safety harness from roof tops
- Ability to work around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights and scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
- Ability to complete production forms documenting services provided
- Ability to work in a Drug Free workplace
- Agreement to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
