Job Summary
The Innovation Technician role focuses on crawlspaces/attics moisture work and attic insulation, including vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, fungus treatment, and vents. Responsibilities include light construction/repair related to pest damage, customer-facing explanations and guidance on pest control measures, service delivery through exclusion services and wildlife removal with safety protocols, and ongoing learning about industry trends and regulations. The position involves working in tight spaces (crawl spaces, basements, attics), setting up exclusion traps, removing trapped animals, and adhering to safety practices while using PPE; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and navigating equipment, vehicles, and varying weather conditions. Required education and credentials include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with clearance checks, and compliance with applicable licenses/certificates; pre-employment background screening is also part of the process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess a valid driver’s license and undergo motor vehicle driving record check
- Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)
- Pre-employment background screen
