Job Summary
Support customer requirements development and planning for National SIGINT systems as the Senior Systems Engineer for a tactical radio frequency operations innovation lab. Capture and document requirements for next-generation systems while assisting in program planning across the FYDP, presentations, and project prioritization. Provide technical guidance to project engineers, ensuring standards are observed during development and deployment of space and ground processing systems. Participate in meetings, working groups, and product reviews to monitor systems engineering plans and align customer plans with other IC engineers. Produce solid documentation mapping requirements to capabilities for extended IC enterprise fielding and directly participate in structured analysis of alternatives decision processes. Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to ensure technical integrity and completeness of work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline
- At least 20 years of systems engineering experience
- Master's degree or PhD (substitutable for two years of experience)
- High school diploma or GED (substitutable for 24 years of systems engineering experience)
- Robust knowledge/experience of space-based sensor systems
- Robust knowledge/experience of IC capabilities
- Robust knowledge/experience of IC policies
- Robust knowledge/experience of IC organizations
- Robust knowledge/experience of leadership
- Experience with software development
- Experience with software integration
- Experience with project management
- Ability to supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project
- TS/SCI clearance
- Polygraph clearance
