Job Summary
Room Service Server duties include delivering in-room dining and beverages, answering the Room Service phone, taking and inputting orders, and processing payments to meet Forbes and Biltmore standards. The role requires offering gracious hospitality, prompting service, and supporting leadership; schedule averages 20 hours per week with weekend availability. Must have a high school diploma and serving experience (6+ months preferred) and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk extensively, and maintain professional appearance. Includes setting up orders, arranging condiments, delivering amenities, handling payments, and maintaining guest relations; 21+ and background checks may apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous serving experience
- 6 months of related food and beverage experience in a fine dining/upscale setting and/or luxury hotel/resort
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- At least 21 years of age
