Job Summary
Conduct front desk operations including check-ins/outs, reservations, and multi-line phone management while executing daily opening and closing SOPs. Act as concierge by resolving guest issues with empathy and providing local insights on history, beers, and Southern Delaware highlights. Support housekeeping by stripping linens, making beds, stocking minibars, and performing spot cleans, while managing coffee service, retail sales, and bike rentals. Handle cash, post charges, and reconcile small sales using Cloudbeds and POS systems. Maintain fire features, perform minor grounds maintenance, and ensure front-of-house spaces remain tidy and safe. Requires weekends, holidays, and evening availability with guaranteed daytime hours on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Weekends, Holidays, and Evening availability required
- Flexible availability throughout the summer season, holidays, and special events
- Guaranteed daytime availability on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays
- Reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of customer service or hospitality (front desk, guest services, or similar)
- Comfortable with cash handling, posting charges, and basic reconciliations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong general computer skills
- Friendly, professional communicator in person, by phone, and over email
- Detail‐driven multitasker
- Self‐manages priorities in a fast‐paced, guest‐focused environment
- Tech‐savvy: Apple computers, Word, Excel, Outlook, POS, and Cloudbeds
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Reliable, punctual, and team‐first mindset
