Job Summary
Front Desk Agent at The Inn at Matteis Tavern, Auberge Collection: as the first point of contact, greet guests on arrival, manage check-in/check-out, handle room reservations, communicate hotel services and policies, process payments and maintain accurate guest records. Provide exceptional customer service, address guest inquiries promptly, relay messages between departments, and support a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and willingness to work holidays and weekends. Prior guest services experience and familiarity with hotel systems (e.g., Opera, OpenTable, TripAdvisor tools) are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Guest Services experience preferred
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends as business levels dictate
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Use of Opera, Unifocus, Google, Trip Advisor, Yelp and OpenTable a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Pleasant and professional phone demeanor
- Team focused
- Ability to take on new responsibilities as the position demands
