Job Summary
Assist Press Operator with complete set-up and operation of the Digital Inkjet press, including the print engine, unwinder, stacker, and finishing unit. Maintain paper inventory, replenish stock, and safely stack finished product for delivery to the Bindery while monitoring quality to ensure customer satisfaction. Complete all required paperwork, job jackets, and records, and perform area cleaning and preventative maintenance. Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements while following written and verbal instructions. Work overtime as required and cross-train for multiple job functions in a production environment involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanically inclined with good math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
- Frequent turning, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing
- Continuous walking and/or standing
- Operate hand jack
