Job Summary
Assist Press Operator with complete set-up and operation of the print engine, unwinder, stacker, and finishing unit while maintaining paper inventory and replenishing stock safely. Monitor quality to ensure customer satisfaction, maintain accurate counts, and stack finished product for delivery to Bindery. Complete all required paperwork, job jackets, and records while performing area cleaning and preventative maintenance on the priming unit and press. Adhere to safety procedures including PPE and ergonomics, and be prepared to work overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanically inclined with good math skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
- Frequent turning, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing
- Continuous walking and/or standing
- Operate hand jack
