Job Summary
Develop color formulas and mixes solvent and UV inks for production, mixing standard and special match colors per work orders. Use the Gretag Mcbeth color system to match colors and read DE levels, while setting viscosity for each formula. Maintain ink inventory by ordering supplies as needed and keep equipment mixers and spectro in working order. Keep the work area clean and organized at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Work Monday through Friday from 07:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Screen Printing experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables and standardized situations
- Ability to add, subtract and use a calculator
- 07:00 a.m. to 03:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday
