Job Summary
Ink Technician at Smyth Companies in Minneapolis: mix, blend, and color-match chemical-based flexographic inks; perform press-side color matching; operate color computer; coordinate press job set-ups and authorize color sign-off; manage ink inventory and hazardous waste; clean anilox rolls; require color-vision and basic math; preferred familiarity with IMS and X-Rite software and lean ISO quality systems; 3 days/week shifts, OT after 40 hours, benefits include medical/dental/vision and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills; ability to use a tape measure and convert measurements
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
