Job Summary
Ink Manufacturing Technician to safely handle chemicals and materials and manufacture inks/pastes using printing machines. Responsibilities include running quality inspection equipment, performing equipment setup/change-over, assisting in development of manufacturing procedures for efficient processes, and maintaining data on quality, inventory and production. Requires BS in Science or Engineering or AS with 2 years lab/manufacturing experience; proficiency with QA equipment (viscometers, balances); strong Excel skills; good interpersonal and teamwork abilities; ability to troubleshoot lab equipment and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Science or Engineering or AS with 2 years lab or manufacturing experience
- Experience with safely handling chemicals and materials in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Quality Assurance equipment like viscometers, balances, etc.
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in team environment
- Able to troubleshoot chemical lab equipment
- Able to timely and accurately complete tasks with minimum supervision
