Job Summary
Operate plant equipment per standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety guidelines—open/close valves, operate pumps, forklifts, pull material from storage racks, monitor batches as they mix, and lift/dump bags of material up to 100 lbs. Batch processing includes charging material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading/unloading and cleaning equipment, packaging product, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area; assist other production areas as needed. Maintain working knowledge of all SOPs and adhere to 5S and safety requirements; troubleshoot issues to ensure a quality batch; perform daily housekeeping and attend to equipment and common areas; maintain acceptable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of successful manufacturing experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- History of a safe work performance in an industrial setting
