Job Summary
Lead onsite injury prevention and proactive safety at an Amazon Fulfillment Center, driving ergonomic interventions based on risk assessments and injury trends. Design and implement workplace evaluations to eliminate hazards, translate complex injury data into actionable prevention strategies, and deliver engaging ergonomic education. Build partnerships with operations to integrate prevention into daily workflows and enable sustainable behavior change through personalized coaching and positive reinforcement. Responsibilities include lifting up to 49 pounds, standing for long shifts, and supporting emergency response; roles require First Aid/CPR/AED certification if not already held. The position emphasizes data-driven, proactive safety improvements and collaboration with the WHS team to protect associates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer, by either the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification
- Must have a valid card evidencing successful completion of a First Aid, CPR, and AED course from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping
