Job Summary
Conduct employee injury prevention programs, education, and training while leading the development and implementation of interventions focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives. Assist employee healthcare teams with job function assessments, incident investigations, and care management. Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI processes and manage reporting for assigned plants. Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs. Work Monday through Friday with occasional travel to multiple locations, reporting directly to client healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
- 2+ years' experience in health and fitness
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Required to travel to multiple locations Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and two Thursdays per month
- Required to travel to Orange, CT every Tuesday
- Required to travel to Berkshire, MA and Clifton Park/Mechanicville, NY on two Thursdays each month
- Understanding of Biomechanics
- Understanding of Occupational Safety
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Personal Training Certification
- Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing)
