Job Summary
Injection Operator responsible for preparation, setup, starting and running injection equipment across PET and HDPE lines; perform minor adjustments as directed while ensuring safety and following plant rules. Maintain daily logs and quality forms, conduct visual and mechanical quality checks to meet production standards, and manage housekeeping across production areas. Must understand resin differences (VPET, RPET, HDPE) and identify safe parts for grinding/reintroduction. Able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues with maintenance collaboration, operate multiple machines, and communicate issues clearly. Proficient with computer systems such as Shotscope, Electric80, and Ignition. Requires regular, predictable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Education minimum is High School Diploma or GED. The role supports Niagara Bottling’s LIFE competency model with a focus on safety, ownership, customer responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years – Experience in Position
- Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines
