Injection Molding Technician 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Monitor injection molding machines and in-mold label robots to ensure proper label placement and product quality. Assist with mold installation, label magazine setup, and robot arm adjustments while troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, or robotic issues such as vacuum loss or stuck labels. Perform preventative maintenance by cleaning sensors, greasing mold slides, and replacing worn components like hoses and fittings. Document all tasks in logbooks and communicate clearly with team leads regarding recurring issues. Work the 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, responding quickly to downtime to reduce equipment downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations.
Required Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge (gears, motors, belts, sensors, air lines)
- Comfortable using hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, Allen keys, etc.)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience with injection molding, automation, or IML labeling is a big plus
- Ability to read simple electrical or pneumatic diagrams
- Experience using forklift or pallet jack (if needed for mold handling)
