Injection Molding Process Technician

Set machine controls to regulate clamping pressure and speeds, then verify molding parameters including pressures, timers, and water temperatures. Cycle in machines and examine parts for defects such as flash, sinks, and cracks, adjusting setups to eliminate issues and develop process settings for dimensional stability. Conduct forensic root-cause analysis of molding or material issues using data and analytical tools while assisting with mold setup and tooling design reviews. Maintain general housekeeping for safety and adherence to the 5S policy, create detailed documentation for process validation, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires 2+ years of injection molding experience.
