Job Summary
Injection Molding Operator - Level II on 2nd Shift in Kulpsville, PA. Responsible for setting up, starting up, and operating multiple injection molding machines, performing mold and material changes, loading/unloading hoppers, trimming and degating components, inspecting parts, and recording production data. Requires reading blueprints and work instructions, proficiency with measuring tools and Excel, adherence to ISO 9000/AS9100 quality policies, and ability to work with TPM and continuous-improvement initiatives. Must be able to operate ancillary equipment (ovens, X-ray testing, lathes) as needed, maintain inventory, and comply with safety/environmental regulations. U.S. Person status for ITAR access is required, and candidate must meet basic physical requirements for production work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with operating a workstation computer and MS Excel
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, product specifications, and work instructions
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills and ability to maintain daily production records
- Ability to operate multiple injection molding machines and perform mold changes and material changes as required
- Ability to read, understand, and follow company safety policies and ISO/AS requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and use appropriate material handling devices
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team and participate in operational planning and improvement initiatives
