Job Summary
Injection Molding Operator responsible for operating injection molding and secondary operation equipment in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment, performing hand cleaning of parts, conducting quality inspections at required AQL intervals, supporting daily/weekly production targets while minimizing material loss and downtime, maintaining clean and organized work areas, collaborating with Lead Technicians during machine setup/maintenance/teardown, accommodating day or night shifts as production demands, and participating in cross-training to build technical and manufacturing skills. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and a strong work ethic suitable for long-term growth in a climate-controlled manufacturing setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Manufacturing or injection molding experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working around machinery with strong safety awareness
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
