Job Summary
Assist technicians with set ups and changeovers while operating fully automated Engel Injection Molding Machines. Select and load raw materials into surge bins, transfer items from the warehouse, and perform incoming material inspections. Conduct quality checks and documentation with KOMEG to maintain standards throughout department processes. Clean in-process containers, support equipment, and maintain general housekeeping in the area. Work the 1st shift Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm, with overtime and weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience preferably working with Injection Molding machines in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Candidate must pass a job specific Physical Capacity Profile test
- Will work 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am-3pm
- Works overtime including weekends
- Constant sitting or standing
- Walks twists, turns, stoops or bends frequently
- Squats/Kneels occasionally
- Reaches frequently
- Performs overhead work occasionally
- Drives occasionally
- Lifts/Carries 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift
- Pushes/Pulls 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 25 feet, over 40 times per shift
- Use both hands to move objects for 6-8 hours per day
- Use a simple grasp to pick up objects with both hands for 6-8 hours per day
- Use both hands to finely manipulate objects for 4-6 hours per day
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
