Injection Molding Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform complex repairs, design changes, and new builds on plastic injection molds using hand and basic machine tools without supervision. Skillfully interpret mold and manifold prints to make complex components, polish surfaces to class A1 standards, and design jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Lead projects from start to finish by directing and mentoring lower-level technicians while prioritizing multiple tasks. Evaluate and complete all job aspects independently, including outsourcing specific tasks as directed. Requires 8-10+ years of mold making experience and electrical/hydraulic aptitude. Located in London, Ohio, with a $10,000 retention bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of mold making experience
- Electrical and hydraulic aptitude/knowledge
- Proven mechanical aptitude with understanding of dimensional mathematics
- Ability to interpret mold and manifold prints
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Able to walk or stand for 2 hours at a time for up to 10 hours
- Able to lift 50 lbs
