Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Injection Mold Tooling Technician for a direct-hire role in a well-established plastics manufacturer. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and preparing injection molds and tooling for production. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with an associate degree in Tool & Die or related field.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in tool room or mold maintenance (plastics industry required)
- Ability to clean, inspect, and stage injection molds for production
- Conduct insert changes, replace ejector pins, and perform light machining repairs
- Maintain accurate tooling records and communicate issues to engineering
- Operate manual tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
Desired Qualifications
- Tool & Die or Mold Making background
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with manual machining and mold repair equipment
