Job Summary
Set up, test, and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines while troubleshooting minor issues and ensuring mold tools are safely stored. Assist with robotic automation setup, service end-of-arm tools, and adjust molding conditions like temperature and pressure to correct part quality deficiencies. Maintain daily records of tool changes, log pre-heats, and complete process tracking sheets for each job. Coordinate daily priorities with supervisors and communicate issues to the next shift, ensuring cycle times remain within defined limits. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and aerial lifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years working experience in industrial / injection mold, repair, maintenance and/or robotics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, policies and procedure manuals, and operating instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Basic computer skills, including P.C. knowledge and current technology software familiarity
- Ability to use various types of tools and equipment necessary (manual, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.)
- Mechanical ability
- Lock Out/Tag Out process knowledge
- Operate Forklift, Overhead Crane, and Aerial Lifts
