Job Summary
Operate and maintain injection molding machines to ensure production targets and part specifications are met. Set up, start-up, shut down, and tear down molds; load processes correctly; inspect parts per customer specifications; perform routine maintenance on machines and accessories; document all required paperwork accurately; troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with maintenance, QA, and warehouse teams. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; promote quality, safety, and environmental standards; minimize scrap through process improvements; and perform other duties as assigned to support the production team. Requires high attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and strong teamwork and communication skills. A minimum of 3 years of plastic injection molding experience and hands-on experience with injection molding machines are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of plastic injection molding experience or equivalent training
- Minimum of 3 years of process technician experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with injection molding machines in a manufacturing environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass drug and background screening
- Must be able to be at work on time daily
