Job Summary
Plan, direct, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities to ensure buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably. Oversee maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment while managing the maintenance department and outside contractors. Collaborate with Production Manager to schedule activities, hire and train staff, and enforce safety requirements. Analyze work problems, develop capital equipment justifications, and implement measures to improve production methods and efficiency. Maintain time and maintenance records, estimate requisitions, and ensure customer deadlines are met.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 6 Years – Experience in Position
- 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or vocational studies
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ Years– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 10+ Years – Experience working in Position
- Master's Degree
- Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills to communicate effectively with immediate team and peers
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well in collaborative group environments
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
