Job Summary
The Manager, Communications Designer will supervise the integrated media planning product, develop media strategies, and lead a team of employees. Key responsibilities include preparing and presenting media plans, maintaining media plan stewardship, managing daily client planning requirements, and overseeing financial control of media purchases. Strong qualifications include a history in integrated media planning, client relationship management, and proficiency in media research tools. An ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively is crucial.
Required Qualifications
- Manager-Director level of experience in integrated media planning
- History of developing positive on-going business relationships with a focus on client service
- Demonstrated ability to effectively apply knowledge and insights gained from research resources to media planning
- Previous experience managing and developing employees
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to develop and foster strong relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally
- Independent thinker with highly developed organizational skills and a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising
- Proficient with media research tools (e.g. Clear Decisions, Vividata, Neilson)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Curiosity, learning agility, with a passion for continuous development
