Job Summary
Assess the cardiorespiratory condition of users for diagnostic or therapeutic monitoring. Contribute to anesthesia and treat problems affecting the cardiorespiratory system. Ensure adequate and optimal equipment functioning. Plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching to users, their loved ones, and groups regarding cardiorespiratory care and respiratory therapy techniques. Participate in research aimed at health promotion and disease prevention. Prescribe medications according to regulations in force. Requires a DEC in respiratory therapy techniques and membership in the Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a college diploma (DEC) in respiratory therapy techniques from a school recognized by the competent ministry.
- Must be member of the Professional Order of Respiratory Therapists of Quebec.
