Job Summary
Supervise K-12 students in tutoring sessions covering Math and ELA while addressing learning gaps from the previous school year. Prepare the tutoring area, manage attendance, and document progress through the HeyTutor Dashboard. Lead groups using provided curriculum, facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested, and foster an engaging, inclusive environment that supports positive behavior. Handle student pick-up and drop-off from designated school areas. Work Monday through Friday, 6 hours daily (30 hours/week) between 8:00am and 3:00pm during school hours. Pass an in-person FBI-DOJ background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed an AA or higher, or be currently enrolled in college
- Tutoring experience
- Must be comfortable tutoring K-12 Math & ELA
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check
