Job Summary
Analyze site hydrological and hydraulic conditions to evaluate flood, overloading, and erosion risks, ensuring proposed solutions align with the actual context. Validate contractor hydraulic calculations, including flow rates and rainfall assumptions, against technical standards and best practices. Propose technical adjustments during construction when ground conditions deviate from initial hypotheses or unforeseen constraints arise. Supervise the implementation of gutters, pipes, weirs, and drainage channels, verifying execution quality and plan compliance. Collaborate closely with the mission chief, resident engineer, and structural engineer to ensure technical coherence between road, hydraulic, and civil works. Contribute to quality control by validating hydraulic materials and identifying non-conformities.
Required Qualifications
- Diplôme en génie civil, hydraulique ou domaine connexe (Bac+5 ou équivalent)
- Minimum 7 à 10 ans d'expérience en hydraulique / hydrologie
- Expérience confirmée en drainage urbain
- Expérience confirmée en dimensionnement d'ouvrages hydrauliques
- Expérience dans des projets similaires (infrastructures, routes, urbain)
- Dimensionnement hydraulique (dalots, buses, caniveaux)
- Modélisation et analyse hydrologique
- Lecture et validation de calculs complexes
- Bonne compréhension des interactions terrain
- Expérience en projets en milieux urbains denses
- Expérience en contextes internationaux / pays en développement
