Job Summary

Design and implement end-to-end logistics strategies to optimize supply chain performance, costs, and customer deliveries. Analyze current logistics flows to identify efficiency improvements using Lean principles, Six Sigma, or automation. Define and execute material flow processes, lead inventory clean-up initiatives, and coordinate the Go-Live of Zebra handheld scanning tools across operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline warehousing, improve facility layout, and ensure material availability. Lead the implementation of logistics systems for real-time visibility and process automation, including Zebra scanner deployment and inventory report creation. Define requirements for an inventory dashboard replacing Excel files and create work instructions for the ERP module. Collaborate with receiving and shipping supervisors to manage the logistics team, align operations with business strategy, and resolve production issues related to equipment, delays, or quality defects. Select, procure, and maintain material handling equipment while defining corrective and preventive actions. Redefine roles and responsibilities within the department and lead coordination meetings to support alignment and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing process development, or continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with ERP systems
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Bilingual (French, English, or Spanish), written and spoken
  • Proficiency with Epicor ERP and Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint)
