Ingénieur Liaison - Liaison Engineer

Job Summary
Analyze and disposition cabin and structural nonconformities identified during completion activities, flight testing, and aircraft delivery. Collaborate with Operations, Methods, and Quality teams while providing technical support and consulting with engineering specialists to ensure optimal resolution of issues. Work with suppliers on components outside design authority and interpret engineering drawings to ensure strict adherence to design intent during replacements. Participate in the Product Integrity Committee and anticipate end-customer requirements for technical decision-making. This on-site role requires five days per week in Montreal for a major aircraft manufacturer client.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Technical degree combined with significant aerospace experience
- Ability and willingness to obtain Engineering MRB (Material Review Board) delegation following a period of on-the-job training
- Strong knowledge of aircraft cabin interiors, metallic and composite aircraft structures, and aircraft systems installation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in navigating and reviewing engineering mock-ups using CATIA V5
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the disposition of aerospace nonconformities
- French language proficiency
- Existing MRB delegation
- A technical degree combined with significant aerospace experience (alternative to the primary degree requirement)
