Job Summary
Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems for helicopters, defining system requirements and ensuring their traceability. Participate in verification, validation, and testing activities while preparing certification documentation to demonstrate compliance with TCCA, FAA, and EASA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across electrical, software, and mechanical domains, as well as with suppliers, to provide technical support throughout the development cycle from design through certification. Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering, at least 10 years of avionics development experience, and strong knowledge of DO-160, DO-178C, and ARP4754A standards. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, avionics, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in avionics systems development
- Solid experience in the integration and certification of aviation systems
- Good knowledge of DO-160, DO-178C, and ARP4754A standards, as well as TCCA, FAA, and EASA requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with helicopter programs (an asset)
- TCCA authorization for design approvals (TCCA Design Approval Authorization / DAO Delegate / former DAR) strongly preferred
