Job Summary

Lead technical manufacturing projects from opportunity identification through implementation, designing and implementing solutions for tooling, jigs, fixtures, equipment, and process improvements to enhance assembly efficiency, ergonomics, and production capacity. Optimize manufacturing processes by improving cycle times, reducing variation, eliminating bottlenecks, and increasing performance through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Manage project execution including scope, timelines, budgets, supplier coordination, installation, and production validation while developing standards, documentation, and automation specifications. Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver sustainable improvements for complex ETO/CTO HVAC products.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within complex manufacturing environments such as HVAC, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or similar industries
  • Proven experience leading technical projects involving tooling, fixtures, jigs, equipment, layouts, or process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, manufacturing methods, tooling design, fabrication processes, and production optimization
  • Experience managing projects from concept through implementation, including supplier coordination, commissioning, and production validation
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and 3D CAD models and translate requirements into manufacturable solutions
  • Professional proficiency in French is required and essential for all employees based in Montreal
  • Professional proficiency in English is also important, as it enables collaboration with group employees located in the United States and elsewhere around the world

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing documentation is an asset
