Job Summary
Conduct real-time damage assessments and troubleshoot complex issues during engine assembly, disassembly, and testing to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Evaluate engine deviations exceeding approved limits, manage special work scopes, and validate disassembly and assembly instructions within overhaul manuals. Provide technical support to P&WC-owned shops and the DOF/TSA network, while delivering hands-on training and performing product audits to ensure MRO processes align with company standards. Engage with a global network of service centers to translate technical data into strategic action plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering
- 10 years of experience in aerospace, aftermarket service, engineering, operations, or a related field
- Knowledge of processes and documentation related to major engine overhaul
- Good technical knowledge of different P&WC engine families
- Experience in assembly and disassembly of P&WC engines
- Very good knowledge of English for reading and understanding daily documentation and technical terms, and for writing and communicating in English with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues
- Ability to submit to a criminal record check and obtain all necessary authorizations related to the handling and transfer of controlled goods
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assembly on PT6A engines
- Ability to manage customer satisfaction at all levels (internal or external)
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment managing projects related to product performance while keeping focus to meet regulatory requirements and client expectations
- Ability to convert technical data into concrete strategy and action plan
- AS9100 C auditor certification
