Job Summary
Project Engineer at Haleon Montréal (Saint-Laurent) responsible for planning, coordinating and executing engineering projects to improve manufacturing processes, productivity, and product quality. Leads project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation; defines project scope and deliverables with stakeholders; monitors progress and implements corrective actions. Performs process-improvement activities using Lean and other methodologies; develops and tests new manufacturing methods and equipment. Collaborates with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain) and communicates project status, updates, risks, and technical drawings/reports to stakeholders and management. Ensures manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements; conducts risk assessments and implements quality-control measures; participates in root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Manages supplier relationships and identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost savings; prepares and manages project budgets. Requires fluent French (and English) to ensure effective communication in a bilingual environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of project management experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process-improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual French/English required (written and spoken)
