Job Summary
Direct the design and preparation of plans, estimates, and details for municipal infrastructure projects including waterworks, sewers, roads, and streets. Coordinate design activities across disciplines to ensure seamless project integration, review and validate engineering calculations against applicable codes and regulations, and prepare technical reports and cost estimates for municipal works. Supervise technicians, draftsmen, and junior engineers while mentoring them to advance their technical mastery. Act as the primary technical resource for clients, presenting recommendations and tailored solutions. Manage multiple mandates simultaneously to meet schedules and budgets while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalauréat en génie civil
- Membre en règle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum de 7 années d'expérience pertinente en conception d'infrastructures municipales
- Solide maîtrise des principes de conception et de réalisation de projets municipaux
- Expérience démontrée en coordination d'équipes techniques et en encadrement de professionnels
- Excellente capacité à gérer plusieurs mandats simultanément tout en respectant les échéanciers et les budgets
- Excellentes habiletés de communication en français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
