Job Summary
Lead production engineering responsibilities at Clarios: achieve production targets while adhering to safety, quality, environmental, and delivery standards; manage production operations including manpower, materials, equipment, and processes; enforce safety procedures (LOTO, SafeTrack, STOP, Toma 2) and proper PPE; conduct daily shift start-up meetings with clear safety, quality, and operational priorities; audit first-piece approvals, perform SafeTrack observations, and support investigations of incidents; drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and structured problem solving; ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949; coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, and Payroll to maintain continuity; manage shift coverage, training, certifications, and payroll incidents; ensure smooth shift handovers with zero minutes lost; require availability for rotating shifts and relocation if needed; communicate in English at ~80%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Previous experience as Production Supervisor or in a similar role within automotive, metal-mechanic, chemical, or manufacturing environments
- Availability to work rotating shifts
- Willingness to relocate if required
- English proficiency (approximately 80%)
