Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area by recommending and implementing equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies. Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process and technology target specifications while reviewing product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods. Lead the innovation, development, and optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures for transfer to operations, including scouting, feasibility work, and tooling assessment. Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and ensure all procedures comply with regulations. Interact with product design and development personnel to ensure process-design compatibility and may conduct statistical analysis or recommend documentation additions.
